MACAU, July 25 -- Jointly organized by the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Macau Garrison and the Macau Special Administrative Region Government (Macao SAR Government), the 16th Military Summer Camp for Macau Youth kicked off at the Taipa Barracks of the Chinese PLA Macau Garrison on July 22, with over 130 young students from Macao SAR attended.
澳门7月25日电：由解放军驻澳门部队和澳门特别行政区政府共同举办的第十六届澳门青年学生军事夏令营，22日在氹仔军营开营，130余名澳门青年学生参加。
Deputy Commander Dai Jinsong of the PLA Macau Garrison, and Huang Jiaqi, acting director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of Macao SAR Government, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. Dai Jinsong presented the "Military Summer Camp" flag to the young student representatives. After that, the participating students held a solemn national flag-raising ceremony.
驻澳门部队副司令员戴劲松、澳门特区政府教育及青年发展局代局长黄嘉祺分别在开营仪式上致辞。戴劲松向青年学生代表授予“军事夏令营”营旗。仪式结束后，参训学生在操场举行了庄严的升国旗、升营旗仪式。
The summer camp has designed multiple military training subjects, arranged the learning of national defense, diplomacy, and personal first aid, and organized activities such as singing patriotic songs and visiting the Zhuhai Aerospace Land. It will also hold cultural and sports activities.
本次夏令营设计了多项军事课目，安排学习国防、外交、个人救护等方面知识，组织学唱爱国歌曲和参观珠海太空中心等，还将举办文艺晚会等文体活动。
Student representatives from Colégio Mateus Ricci in Macau said that joining the military summer camp will help them to look forward to embracing unknown challenges, learning the fearless and courage spirit of soldiers, overcoming all difficulties, and becoming a better person.
来自澳门利玛窦中学的学生代表表示，军事夏令营是人生中一个重要的课堂，他们期待在迎接未知的挑战和磨练，学习军人身上无所畏惧、勇往直前的精神，突破每一个难关，成为更好的自己。
