BEIJJNG, Mar. 7 -- The eighth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2024) was held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, from March 4 to 6, local time.

The DIMDEX, a biennial event started in 2008, is the only professional maritime defense exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa, and is now among the most important defense exhibitions in the Middle East.
多哈国际海事防务展创办于2008年，每两年举办一届,是中东和北非地区唯一的专业海事防务展览会。该展会目前已成为中东地区最重要的防务展之一。
According to reports, more than 200 international military enterprises participated in the exhibition, with exhibits covering every aspect of maritime defense systems, including warships, missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), radars and electronic warfare (EW) systems and cyber security systems. A total of 110 military delegations from around the world came for visit and negotiation.
据介绍，本届展会共有来自全球各地的200多家军工企业参加，展品涵盖全方位的海上防御系统，包括军舰、导弹、无人机、雷达以及电子战系统、网络安全系统等。来自全球的110个军事代表团前来参观和洽谈。
Nine countries set up pavilions at the exhibition, including Qatar, China, France and Italy. In "China Defence" exhibition area, the Chinese military enterprises presented hundreds of products encompassing both traditional and emerging defense fields, including tanks, armored vehicles, missiles, radars, UAVs and unmanned surface vessels (USVs).
展会开设了卡塔尔、中国、法国、意大利等9个国家展区。在“中国防务”展区，参展的中国军工企业带来了坦克、装甲车、导弹、雷达、无人机、无人艇等数百款产品，全面涉及传统防务领域和新兴防务领域。
