DALIAN, May 12 -- The 83rd taskforce, composed by training ship Qi Jiguang and amphibious dock landing ship Jinggangshan attached to the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy, set sail respectively from a naval port and a civil port in Dalian City, northeast China's Liaoning Province, for the ocean-going cadet training mission. Taking naval sailors and cadets onboard, the ships will also visit Cambodia and Timor-Leste.
大连5月11日电5月10日上午，由我海军戚继光舰和井冈山舰组成的83编队，搭载海军学员和官兵，分别从大连某军港和某民用港口解缆起航，执行远海实习任务，并访问柬埔寨和东帝汶两国。
It is learned that the cadets onboard for the training and visit mission were chosen from PLA Dalian Naval Academy and Naval Submarine Academy, including five foreign cadets from the former, who will be mix-grouped and trained together with their Chinese counterparts.
据了解，此次随舰实习出访的学员来自海军大连舰艇学院和海军潜艇学院。其中，来自海军大连舰艇学院的5名外籍军事留学生，将全程与中方学员混编同训。
During the mission, the taskforce will organize training for cadets to promote their capabilities of performing duties and comprehensive qualities required for ocean navigation. While docking at foreign ports, the taskforce will also conduct official meetings, visits, exchanges and other activities to deepen the friendship with the people of the countries they visit.
任务期间，编队将围绕提升学员岗位任职能力及航海综合能力素质组织开展实习训练。同时，在靠泊外国港口期间，编队还将开展官方拜会、参观座谈等活动，以加深与到访国人民之间的友谊。
