BEIJING, Apr. 17 -- Recently, relevant military and local departments in Zaozhuang City of east China's Shandong Province jointly set up a special working group to successfully crack a case of illegal production and sale of military uniforms, and 14 illegal production and sales dens were cleaned up.
According to the Yicheng Branch under the Public Security Bureau of Zaozhuang City, the case involved more than 10 provinces and cities, which was very difficult to investigate. With the support and coordination of relevant military and local departments, problems such as identification, sealing up, storage of fake military uniforms as well as personnel custody were smoothly resolved.
The military and local departments in Zaozhuang City will further enhance the institutional mechanisms, such as the joint military-civilian meetings, intelligence sharing and joint investigation of serious cases, to crack down on the production and sale of fake military uniforms, and strongly safeguard the image of the military.
