国防部敦促日方停止在南海问题上搬弄是非

MND Urges the Japanese Side to Stop Sowing Discord in the South China Sea

9月24日下午，国防部举行例行记者会，国防部新闻发言人蒋斌大校答记者问。

记者：菲律宾一艘公务船在中国南沙群岛仙宾礁附近海域挑衅滋事，事情发生后日本驻菲律宾大使馆迅速在社交平台发文，对中方“采取危险行动”“深表关切”，还自我标榜“坚持法治原则，反对任何加剧紧张局势的行动”。请问对此有何评论？

Question: In the wake of the incident provoked by a Philippine government vessel near Xianbin Jiao of China's Nansha Qundao, the Japanese Embassy in the Philippines quickly posted on social media that it's "gravely concerned" over the "dangerous actions" by China, and portrayed itself as "upholding the rule of law and opposing any actions which increase tensions". What is your comment on this?

蒋斌：关于菲律宾公务船在仙宾礁碰瓷挑衅，事实清楚、铁证如山。日本作为南海域外国家，罔顾事实跟着菲律宾颠倒黑白，根本目的是想搅局南海、谋取私利，我们对此坚决反对。一段时间以来，日方不断加强与菲勾连，向菲输出武器装备，派兵赴菲参加联合演习并首次在境外发射进攻型导弹，妄图借机突破战后国际秩序，重温军事扩张旧梦，这才是对地区和平稳定的真正威胁。我们敦促日方先把自身加速“再军事化”的种种行径解释清楚，停止在南海问题上搬弄是非，停止破坏南海和平稳定。

Jiang Bin: It's clear and evident that the Philippine government vessel made provocations near Xianbin Jiao and deliberately rammed a China Coast Guard vessel. Though Japan is not a country directly involved in the South China Sea issue, it has actively joined the Philippine side in distorting facts. The real intention is to make waves in the South China Sea and fish in muddy waters. The Chinese side firmly opposes this behavior. The Japanese side has been strengthening its collusion with the Philippines by providing weapons and sending troops to the Philippines for joint exercises, during which it launched offensive missiles overseas for the first time. The Japanese side is attempting to break away from the post-war international order and revive its old dream of military expansion. This is a real threat to regional peace and stability. We urge the Japanese side to offer a clear explanation of its accelerating "remilitarization" efforts, and stop sowing discord and undermining peace and stability in the South China Sea.
