菲方自编自导自演闹剧动摇不了中方依法维权坚定决心

Self-Directed Farces by the Philippine Side won’t Sway China’s Firm Resolve in Safeguarding Our Rights in Accordance with the Law

记者：据报道，3月7日菲律宾海警侦察机搭载媒体记者在黄岩岛附近巡逻时，遭中国军舰无线电喊话驱离。此外，菲海警称，将强化在南海巡逻并扩大公众宣传，持续提升“透明度”，反制中方霸凌行径。请问对此有何评论？

Question: On March 7, a Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reconnaissance aircraft carrying journalists was reportedly warned off by PLAN ships via radio communications during its patrol near Huangyan Dao. Besides, the PCG said it would have more patrols in the South China Sea and enhance public communications to increase transparency and counter what it describes as China's bullying. What’s your comment on this?

蒋斌：中国对包括黄岩岛在内的南海诸岛及其附近海域拥有无可争辩的主权，对相关海域拥有主权权利和管辖权。中方在本国管辖海域正常开展维权执法活动天经地义，对于菲海警的侵权滋扰行为，中方处置专业克制、合理合法。

Jiang Bin: China has indisputable sovereignty over Nanhai Zhudao, including Huangyan Dao, and their adjacent waters. We have sovereign rights and jurisdiction over relevant waters. China’s law-enforcement and rights-protection operations in waters within our jurisdiction are fully justified. In response to the recent rights-violation actions and provocations conducted by the PCG, the Chinese side took legitimate and lawful countermeasures that are professional and restrained.

借巡逻之名带记者、拍视频、故意挑起事端、通过媒体放大炒作“受害者”叙事，这是菲方惯用的剧本。菲方所谓的“透明”“曝光”，让世人看到的不是事实真相，而是自编自导自演的闹剧。我们正告菲方，无论怎么剪辑镜头、编造谎言，都改变不了黄岩岛等南海岛礁的主权归属，都动摇不了中方依法维权的坚定决心。对于一切侵权挑衅行为，我们都将继续采取有效措施予以应对。

Taking journalists on-board during its so-called patrol missions to film videos and play up the “victim’s narrative” has become the not-so-surprising playbook for the Philippine side. The so-called transparency and exposure campaign is not about uncovering the truth to the world, but a self-directed farce. Let me make it clear to the Philippine side: edited footage and fabricated lies can never change China’s sovereignty over Nanhai Zhudao, including Huangyan Dao. They won’t sway China’s firm resolve in safeguarding our rights in accordance with the law. We will continue to take effective countermeasures in response to all rights-violation actions and provocations.
