北京，5月10日电 -- 近日，中国第13批赴南苏丹（瓦乌）维和工兵分队，全面打通西加扎勒河州索普至该州首府瓦乌补给线施工任务。
BEIJING, May 11 -- The 13th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) completed the construction of a supply route from Sopo in Western Bahr el Ghazal State to Wau, the capital of the state.
此前，该补给线受洪水冲刷受损，道路多处出现断点，桥梁损毁十分严重，给当地民众物资补给和急诊就医带来极大不便。
The road and bridges of the supply route had been damaged by floods, causing considerable inconvenience to local residents in terms of material supply and emergency medical treatment.
自3月初部署施工地域以来，我维和官兵克服高温炎热、疾病频发、补给困难等现实问题，打通了110余公里主补给线道路，修复了2座重要桥梁，受到联南苏团验收组的高度评价。
Since being assigned the construction task in early March, Chinese peacekeepers overcame multiple problems such as high temperatures, frequent illnesses, and supply difficulties. They finished the construction of more than 110 kilometers of the main supply route and rehabilitated two important bridges, which have received high praise from the UNMISS.
据了解，中国第13批赴南苏丹（瓦乌）维和工兵分队自去年12月份部署至任务区以来，先后执行30余次工程任务，为南苏丹的建设和发展贡献了中国力量，受到当地民众的广泛赞誉。
It is learned that the contingent has carried out more than 30 engineering tasks since being deployed to the mission area in December 2022, contributing to the construction and development of South Sudan with China’s strength and receiving extensive praise from the local people.
