ABIDJAN, June 25 -- The 43rd Chinese naval escort taskforce arrived in Abidjan, the economic capital of Cote d'Ivoire, on June 22 for a four-day goodwill visit.
科特迪瓦阿比让，6月25日电：中国海军第43批护航编队22日抵达科特迪瓦经济首都阿比让，进行为期4天的友好访问。
On the morning of arrival, the Chinese vessels were welcomed by more than 200 people at the port of Abidjan, including Chinese Ambassador to Cote d'Ivoire Wu Jie, staff of the Chinese embassy, and representatives of overseas Chinese, as well as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Ivorian Navy and other representatives of Ivorian military.
22日上午，编队舰艇驶入阿比让港区。中国驻科特迪瓦大使吴杰及使领馆工作人员、当地中资机构人员、华侨华人代表，科特迪瓦海军副参谋长及官兵代表等200余人在阿比让港码头迎接。
Speaking at the welcoming ceremony, the commanding officer of the visiting vessels expressed the willingness of the Chinese side to continue to deepen military exchanges, strengthen maritime security cooperation and jointly safeguard regional peace and stability with the Ivorian side.
编队指挥员在欢迎仪式上表示，中科建交40年来，关系始终健康稳定发展。中方将继续同科方深化军事领域交流、加强海上安全合作，共同维护地区和平与稳定。
After the ceremony, attending guests boarded the ships in batches for ship tour.
仪式结束后，中科两国官员及欢迎人员分批次登舰参观。
During the visit to Cote d'Ivoire, the commanding officer made courtesy calls on the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Ivorian Military, the Chief of Naval Staff, and the Commander of the Port of Abidjan, and visited and donated materials to local schools.
在科特迪瓦访问期间，我编队指挥员拜会了科特迪瓦军队副总参谋长朱斯坦、海军参谋长塞勒斯坦、阿比让港司令科菲，并对当地学校进行了捐赠慰问。
Besides, the sailors paid visits to Ivorian naval base, shipyard, operation command and inshore patrol ship, attended a welcome reception organized by the Ivorian Navy, and hosted an open-day activity on the frigate Sanya and a deck reception on the destroyer Nanning.
编队官兵赴科特迪瓦海军基地、造船厂、作战指挥中心及近岸巡逻舰参观，参加了科特迪瓦海军组织的欢迎招待会。编队三亚舰将组织舰艇开放活动，南宁舰将组织甲板招待会。
