北京3月26日电近日，联合国驻南苏丹特派团（联南苏团）对中国第14批赴南苏丹（瓦乌）维和工兵分队进行2024年上半年战备能力评估，维和工兵分队以全优成绩通过。
BEIJING, Mar. 26 -- Recently, the 14th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) passed the combat readiness capability assessment conducted by the UNMISS for the first half of 2024 with excellent performance.
评估过程中，联南苏团评估组对中国维和工兵分队野外临时宿营地构设、直升机起降坪构筑、主补给线道路修复、伤员后送转移等一系列课目，进行现场观摩指导,对中国维和工兵分队的军事装备、训练水平、任务筹划以及应对突发情况等各项能力进行全面分析评估。
During the assessment, the UNMISS assessment group conducted on-site observation on a series of subjects including temporary field camps setup, helipad construction, main replenishment route repair and casualty transfer, and carried out comprehensive assessment on the military equipment conditions, training effect, task preparation and emergency response of the Chinese peacekeeping troops.
通过全面评估分析，中国维和工兵分队各项设施符合标准规范、营区防卫设置科学合理、作业能力素质较强，以全优成绩高标准通过此次战备能力评估。
The assessment group members agreed that the Chinese contingent was equipped with standard-compliant facilities, scientific camp defense setup, and potent operational capacities, meeting the combat readiness requirements with high scores.
维和工兵分队领导表示，他们将持续提升战备能力，完成好各项维和任务。
The leader of the Chinese peacekeeping engineering contingent said that they will continuously boost combat readiness construction and fulfill the assigned peacekeeping tasks in the future.
