JUBA, Jan. 5 -- Focusing on the security situation around the mission area, the 12th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) recently conducted a comprehensive defense drill. The drill proceeded in different simulated scenarios including fighting against armed assaults, emergency evacuation, and crowd and riot control. It aimed to thoroughly examine the quick reaction and emergency response capabilities of the Chinese peacekeepers.
