BEIJING, Oct. 28 -- The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Hong Kong Garrison conducted a joint patrol drill on October 27. The drill tested the troops' combat capabilities in emergency response, rapid planning, emergency deployment, joint operations, and contingency handling.
北京10月28日电 10月27日，中国人民解放军驻香港部队以紧急拉动方式组织联合巡逻，检验部队应急反应、快速筹划、紧急出动、联合行动、特情处置等方面作战能力。
This joint patrol involved high-mobility infantry troops, combat vessels, and aerial patrol helicopters, focusing on rapid deployment of command post, maritime and aerial patrol, joint sea area control, as well as emergency rescue and repair.
此次联合巡逻涵盖陆上高机动步兵、海上战训舰艇、空中巡逻直升机等兵种，重点演练指挥所快速展开和筹划指挥、海空巡逻和联合海区管控、应急抢救抢修等实战内容。
During the joint patrol, the garrison troops strictly abided by the laws and regulations of Hong Kong regarding roads, waterways, and aviation management, and notified the relevant departments of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government in advance.
联合巡逻过程中，驻军严格遵守香港道路、航道和航空管理等方面法律规定，并事先通报了香港特区政府有关部门。
