BEIJING, Dec. 3 -- The 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) has carried out a series of humanitarian assistance activities in local communities, villages, schools, and orphanages of Juba, capital of South Sudan.
北京12月3日电 在南苏丹首都朱巴，中国第十一批维和步兵营深入当地社区、村落、学校及孤儿院开展人道主义援助活动。
The Chinese peacekeepers delivered urgently needed supplies such as schoolbags, stationery, and bedding to several primary schools and orphanages. They played games, sang, and danced with the local children, bringing them warmth and joy.
在多所小学和孤儿院，中国维和官兵为孩子们送去书包、文具、被褥等急需物资；在孤儿院，维和官兵与孩子们一同游戏互动、唱歌跳舞，传递温暖和快乐。
They provided professional medical services to residents in Terekeka, conducting health examinations for more than 200 villagers and treating over 150 cases of injuries and illnesses.
在特热克卡，中国维和官兵为当地居民提供专业的诊疗服务，累计为200余名村民进行健康检查，处理各类伤病情150余起。
Since this year, the 11th Chinese Peacekeeping Infantry Battalion to the UNMISS has conducted more than 70 humanitarian assistance operations, donated over 10,000 items of various supplies, and provided medical treatment and assistance to more than 1,000 local people.
据了解，今年以来，中国第十一批赴南苏丹维和步兵营已累计开展人道主义援助活动70余次，捐赠各类物资1万余件，救治帮助当地民众1千余人。
