KUAJOK, South Sudan, July 21 -- The 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Horizontal Engineering Company (Kuajok) to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) recently conducted joint casualty treatment drills under real-combat scenarios with multiple departments of the UNMISS. The drills focused on battlefield first aid, casualty evacuation, and joint rescue process coordination. The Chinese peacekeepers completed first aid operations including on-site hemostasis and fracture fixation as well as casualty evacuation in close collaboration with friendly troops, thereby further enhancing their capabilities of emergency medical response in the mission area.
